Sunset on the Third Tee

Lyrics

[Verse 1] The trade winds hum a quiet tune Across the water, gold and blue The Kona Coast was dressed in bloom With island flowers, fresh as dew On the Mauna Kea's third tee green I waited for the sweetest scene [Chorus] Here's to love, here's to grace Here's to the light upon your face Here's to family by our side Here's to joy, my beautiful bride Underneath the setting sun Two hearts became forever one [Verse 2] Your brother Nick took up your hand And walked you slowly down the aisle With Susie smiling where we'd stand The ocean echoed every smile Ann, in your custom gown you shone And in that moment I was home [Chorus] Here's to love, here's to grace Here's to the light upon your face Here's to family by our side Here's to joy, my beautiful bride Underneath the setting sun Two hearts became forever one [Bridge] You hold your people close and dear Your friends, your family, every one That faithful heart that brought me here Shines brighter than the island sun [Verse 3] The four of us beneath the stars The waves were singing soft and near We poured that 1990 Petrus And raised a glass to every year Ann Simon, you're my wife tonight And every day you'll be my light [Chorus] Here's to love, here's to grace Here's to the light upon your face Here's to family, here's to friends Here's to a love that never ends Underneath the Kona sun Two hearts became forever one [Outro] The sun went down, but we began Forever yours, my darling Ann
